    {Economist: Al Furat News} The Central Statistics Agency of the Ministry of Planning announced today, Thursday, that the grape crop was the most productive among the summer fruits of 2020.

    The Directorate of Agricultural Statistics of the Authority said in a report on the production of summer crops for the year 2020, that "the grape crop during the year 2020 is estimated to produce 421,868 tons for the summer season, an increase of 0.33% over the previous season," noting that "the pomegranate came in second place with a production of 241,671 tons, an increase of It was estimated at 9.94% over the production of the previous season.
    The directorate added that "apples came in third place, with production estimated at 79,413 tons, an estimated increase of 4.72% over the production of last season," noting that "the production of the apricot crop was estimated at 34,609 tons, a decrease of 0.34% compared to last season."
    And she indicated that the production of the sparrow - pear - for the year 2020 amounted to 15567 tons, a decrease of 0.54% compared to the last season, "while the production of figs reached 9322 tons, an increase of 0.62% over the production of the previous year, indicating that the production of the allopalo - pear crop - amounted to 15061 tons, a decrease of 1.89% from the production of the previous year.
    He explained that the production of koja for the summer season 2020 amounted to 3,109 tons, an estimated increase of 2.98% over the production of the previous season, while the production of peaches amounted to 3,645 tons, an increase of 6.86% over the production of the previous season.
