    The Authority's Prevention Department stated in a report prepared to identify the extent to which various state departments use government sector products, through visits to a number of ministries, the need for the state to protect the national industry by working hard to implement the laws and decisions of customs tariff and consumer protection, in addition to the provisions of control. at the border crossings; To prevent the entry of imported goods and merchandise without going through inspection, standardization and quality control, and the conformity of those goods and merchandise to standard specifications. 
    The report, "copies of which were sent to the Prime Minister's Office, the Parliamentary Integrity, Economy and Investment Committees, the offices of the Ministers of Industry, Minerals and Agriculture, and the head of the Military Industrialization Authority, stressed the need to activate the laws and decisions that achieve a safe and sound environment to promote the local product," noting "the need to impose customs duties." And taxes on imported products, and activating the decision to protect the national product issued by the House of Representatives in 2019, which will reflect positively on the national product, and to prevent ministries from dealing with other than the local product. 
    He suggested that banks operating in Iraq support the national industry by granting easy-interest loans to manufacturing companies for a long period of time. To rehabilitate factories and laboratories, overcome obstacles to importing the necessary raw materials in the industry, reduce red tape, in addition to setting flexible governing instructions on contracting procedures for productive ministries, which would contribute to speeding up procedures and ensuring the protection of public money and support for the local product.
     The report called for the Ministry of Finance to allocate funds for the investment budget of the Ministry of Industry to rehabilitate factories and laboratories and modernize production lines, in addition to supporting the (industrial dollar) to reduce the costs of imported raw materials entering the industry, which in turn affects the final price of the product, pointing out that The importance of not granting any import license or investment license to similar products locally. 
    He recommended “the development of strategic plans that include increasing production and expanding its spread in local markets, coordinating between the producing and consuming ministries regarding the type and nature of the product and the possibility of processing, as well as the optimal use of production lines, the provision of specialized staff, and the inclusion of the actual need for human resources from the Ministry of Finance within the budget, with that.”
    The report urged "to reconsider the law of the Ministry of Agriculture, in order to change the nature of its activity from service and research to production and extension, to expand the scope of work in a way that contributes to supporting the economy more broadly, and activating the role of health oversight committees in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authorities in following up on markets, for the purpose of eliminating disease." The phenomenon of smuggled and expired products, and the imposition of severe penalties against violators.
