, Hassan Nazim, spokesman for Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, spoke on Thursday about the purpose of Al-Kazemi's foreign visits.
Nazim said, in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, which was followed by "Mawazine News", that "the current stage charts a new stage of communication with the ocean and the world, these are the conditions that we see these days, especially over the past two years," noting that "there are efforts made by the government." Iraq called the current year the year of diplomacy.
He added, "This government-led openness represents a new viewpoint in relations with regional neighbors, as Iraq returns to its active role in the region, being a meeting point for even the conflicting parties in the Middle East."
Nazim continued, "The government's shuttle trips in the person of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, whether his trips towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, his visits to the United Arab Emirates, or the tripartite summit with Jordan and Egypt, created a very suitable environment, not only to revive Iraqi culture and restore its connection with the world, Rather, it is to revitalize our country in general at the economic and social level.”
The Spokesman affirmed, "The Iraqi culture is on the verge of qualitative conditions that restore its links, especially with Arab culture, as it is the major umbrella that unites Arab countries, and Iraq, as an actor in this culture over a century, is now returning to a new situation in its relations with the Arab world, especially in The neighboring Arab countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Ended 29/A 43
