    , Chairman of the Jordanian Exporters Association, Omar Abu Wishah, called for the necessity of investing the great political efforts made by His Majesty King Abdullah II to serve the national economy and enhance its Arab depth.

    He stressed the need for the private sector, especially the industrial sector, to take the initiative and communicate with its counterparts in the Arab countries to build complementary partnerships that achieve common interests and establish a state of economic integration.

    He said that the great efforts exerted by His Majesty the King constitute a great opportunity to increase Arab economic cooperation in various fields to achieve economic integration, stressing the importance of investing political approaches with economic successes translated into real projects on the ground.

    He pointed out that there are potentials and advantages in every Arab country that can be used to achieve economic integration and increase trade exchange, stressing the importance of tripartite cooperation between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq to exchange benefits and network interests on an integrative rather than competitive basis, invest resources and provide all possible facilities to increase the volume of trade exchange in various fields. production fields.

    He pointed out that the Exporters Association welcomes the positive developments in the Syrian file and the reopening of the land border crossing between them, because of the importance of promoting trade exchanges that achieve common interests and increase the transit trade passing through the lands of the two countries, to reach the markets of the countries of the region at a lower cost and duration. short time.

    Eng. Abu Wishah stressed the need for the private sector to catch up in order to build economic relations and alliances parallel to the political relations that His Majesty the King built and laid the foundations for, noting that the volume of trade between the Kingdom and Arab countries constitutes 50 percent of its total trade with the countries of the world.

    And he indicated that Iraq constitutes a strategic economic dimension to increase trade exchange and return the volume of exports to its previous era in light of the economic agreements signed between the two countries.

    The head of the association affirmed that His Majesty the King has strengthened the Kingdom's position as a country capable of attracting various investments through the advantages and incentives provided within the framework of the reform policy and stimulating economic growth.

    He pointed to many factors that support investment in Jordan, such as the presence of a wise leadership and the provision of security and safety in the Kingdom, in addition to its strategic location, stable political environment, open economy, stability of economic growth and attractive investment climate, not to mention the incentives granted to investment, in addition to free access to global markets.

    He stressed that removing obstacles in front of the industrial sector means accelerating the pace of growth and generating job opportunities, which will reflect positively on citizens and the performance of the national economy and reach the stage of recovery from the consequences of the Corona virus pandemic.
