And Al Dhaheri indicated, according to a consulate statement received by Shafak News Agency, on Wednesday, that "Kurdistan Region is loving and looking forward to increasing its investments and is particularly loving to strengthen relations with the United Arab Emirates, and to attract its companies to work in the region. Al Dhaheri considered the performance of Emirati companies in the Kurdistan Region successful and influential, contributing significantly to the development of many sectors, most notably energy, as it contributes to supporting the production of up to 70% of the electricity produced using gas.
The Consul General of the UAE concluded his speech by saying, "We discussed the issue of cooperation in the e-commerce sector with the Minister of Trade and Industry in the Kurdistan Region, which included encouraging companies working in this field, led by Noon Company, which is one of the leading companies in the UAE and we are proud of it because it was able in a short period of time. Adviser to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Fathi Al-Mudarres, confirmed that the ministry and the minister personally support the entry of more foreign companies into the Kurdistan Region, and welcomes the registration of Noon e-commerce branch in the region.
