Political researcher Haitham al-Khazali confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Federal Court ratified the results under pressure from the US embassy.
[size=45]Khazali said in an interview that "the Federal Court in 2018 intervened and ordered a re-counting and sorting."[/size]
[size=45]He added that "the Federal Court indicated that there were implicit errors and did not take a decision to fix them."[/size]
[size=45]He continued, "The US ambassador's call to accept the results is a blatant external interference in the internal affairs of Iraq."[/size]
