, the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, said today, Wednesday, that the first session of the House of Representatives did not include any legal violation.
Abdullah said in an interview with the official news agency, Mawazine News, that "those who question the legality of the first session must file a complaint with the Federal Court."
Abdullah added, "I hold a doctorate in law, and from a legal point of view Articles 54 and 55 of the constitution were applied during the session, and there is no legal violation."
He pointed out that "the head of the age, MP Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, did not say that he is a candidate or wants to be nominated for the president of the council, and this is a legal violation because he will be a party to this session, and he should have left the platform if he announced the nomination."
