The Accountability and Justice Commission completed, today, Monday, the scrutiny of the names of the candidates for the presidency.
The media department in the authority told the official news agency, "The authority has completed checking the names of candidates for the presidency in accordance with its law No. 10 of 2008, especially Article 6 and its details."
She pointed out that "the number of candidates for the presidency of the Republic reached 26, one of whom is covered by the accountability and justice procedures," stressing that "the results have been officially handed over to the Presidency of Parliament."
The House of Representatives is scheduled to hold a session to elect the President of the Republic on the seventh of next February. Ended 29/N33
