Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, commented on Friday, on the suicide bombing that targeted a Shiite Muslim mosque in Pakistan, while stressing the need for moderation to be loud everywhere.
Earlier in the day, at least 30 people were killed and dozens more injured, in a huge explosion targeting a Shiite mosque while worshipers were performing Friday prayers in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.
In a tweet, Al-Sadr urged "to close ranks and distinguish between moderate and hard-line Sunnis, and to put pressure on the Pakistani government to protect them from terrorists."
He added: "We in Najaf are with you, moderate Shiites and Sunnis in all parts of the world. The voice of moderation must be loud everywhere."
