    Baghdad - conscious - Noor Al-Zaidi
Today, Thursday, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Sajjad Salem, called for the need to support poor families from the surplus oil prices and to guarantee the rights of future generations, while making other proposals in this regard.
Salem told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "poor families affected by the economic effects must be supported as a result of the rise in the price of the dollar," noting that "support should be in various ways, including sums of money that are distributed directly to poor families or by providing Services".
He added, "Poor families must have a database to ensure the delivery of aid to them in particular," explaining that "the rise in oil prices should benefit Iraqi families as well as guarantee the rights of future generations."
He stressed the need for "Al-Wafra to invest in developing infrastructure and providing economic security with the establishment of a sovereign fund for investment and economic development to develop health, education and infrastructure services."
Since last February, international oil prices have risen above $100 per barrel, while the Ministry of Oil has announced revenues from its exports of $8 billion and 314,000 in the same month.
