A parliamentary committee submits proposals to the Ministry of Oil to counter the falling prices

The Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee called on the Ministry of Oil to take appropriate measures regarding low oil prices, and called on them to reduce the expenses of petroleum licensing rounds.
Committee member [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/107218/%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%82 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%B7%D9%8A]Sadiq Al-Sulaiti[/url] said in a press statement: "There are several proposals submitted by the committee to the Ministry of Oil in an official letter to take appropriate measures, including reducing the cost and costs of oil extraction, as they differ between extracted through national companies and licensing tour companies."
He called for the formation of specialized committees to reduce the expenses of petroleum licensing rounds, activate the role of the joint board of directors, transfer the specific exchange powers of twenty million dollars, and reduce them to five million dollars, follow up on the fragmentation of orders and contract appendices, stressing the need to audit all expenses for licensing rounds and the validity of spending doors with the cancellation of security companies ’contracts Reducing it to 25% and entrusting the Ministry of Interior and Defense to provide land for these companies.
Al-Sulaiti stressed the necessity of checking the quantities of crude oil produced and prepared by the region, the account numbers in which the amounts are deposited and a plan in coordination with the security agencies to stop the smuggling of crude oil and oil derivatives that cause waste of public money.
