Shafaq News/ The Central Bank's dollar sales fell in an auction today, Thursday, to reach $180 million.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "The sales of the Central Bank today during its auction for buying and selling US dollars decreased to reach 180 million and 965 thousand and 378 dollars, compared to yesterday, Wednesday, which recorded 190 million and 783 thousand US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per each. dollar.
Our correspondent added; Most of the sales went to meet requests to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, amounting to 155 million and 828 thousand and 305 dollars, while the rest of them went in the form of cash, which amounted to 24 million and 550 thousand dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 28 banks have fulfilled requests to enhance balances abroad, and 12 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 95 mediating companies.
