Dollar sales in the Central Bank of Iraq auction decreased by 5%

Shafaq News/ Dollar sales decreased in the Central Bank auction today, Sunday, to reach 206 million dollars.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a decrease in its dollar sales by 5.07% to reach 206 million, 469 thousand, and 71 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to today Last Thursday, sales amounted to 217 million and 830 thousand and 263 US dollars.
Our correspondent added that most of the bank's sales that went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits amounted to 177 million, 249 thousand and 71 dollars, while the remaining amount of 29 million and 220 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 29 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, 13 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 171 mediation companies.
