The Iraqi Minister of Electricity leaves for Tehran to discuss issues of gas emissions and payment of dues
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim headed a large ministerial delegation to Tehran to meet with the Iranian Ministers of Energy and Oil today, Monday.
Minister Karim will hold, according to a statement to inform the ministry, received by Shafaq News Agency, "several meetings with the Iranian side to discuss the issue of gas releases, payment of dues, and the need to adhere to the terms of contracts and agreements signed between the two sides."
The statement pointed out that "the minister conducts tours and visits to all stations and transmission lines in all governorates of Iraq, and directly supervises a permanent operation room to treat, support and rehabilitate the distribution sector in order that all these efforts and preparations result in an increase in the hours of electricity supply for citizens."
