"The Iraqi oil minister will visit Tehran today to meet with his Iranian counterpart, Bijan Zanganeh, and discuss the latest developments in the oil market and joint oil projects between Iran and Iraq," the source said.
The two countries signed a memorandum on the export of gas from the Iranian side to Iraq in 2009, which later turned into an agreement that provided Iran to export 20 to 25 million cubic meters of gas to Iraq.
In October last year a second agreement was signed on the export of Iranian gas to Iraq and it was agreed to transfer from 25 to 40 million cubic meters of gas to secure the fuel station "Shatt al-Basra."
