The head of the Industry, Trade and Economy Committee in the House of Representatives, Ali Yousef Al-Moussawi, drew attention to the suspension of 165 formations in each of the Ministries of Industry and Trade.
Al-Moussawi said, in an interview: “The country suffers from a lack of job opportunities for young people, especially recent graduates from institutes and colleges. However, it is not possible to employ everyone in state departments,” adding that “the increase in the unemployed is offset by the complete cessation of local factories, in addition to the obsolescence of those Which was established in the eighties and nineties of the last century, and the lack of new production lines in it.”
According to Al-Moussawi, “there are new factories established on the borders between Iraq and its neighboring countries, with monthly profits of about 10 million dollars.
