, Head of the State of Law bloc, Atwan Al-Atwani, considered, on Saturday, the call to dissolve Parliament a defeat, while noting that the idea of the opposition in Iraq is immature.
Al-Atwani said during a televised interview, that the failure to form the government so far is a failure of the Parliament, pointing out that it is difficult to call for new elections, especially since the current reasons are not convincing nor justified for re-voting.
He added that the call to dissolve parliament is considered a defeat, stressing that there is no path to dissolving parliament except the parliament itself, and there is no current parliamentary approach to this matter.
The head of the State of Law bloc suggested that the current month would be pivotal for the political process and the end of differences between the blocs, noting that the idea of the opposition in Iraq is immature and its goal is to overthrow the government and undermine it.
He added that the tripartite alliance could not form a majority government, suggesting that there would be foreign hands that would contribute to prolonging the crisis in Iraq.
Regarding the Food Security Law, Al-Atwani stated that the law serves all components, and voting for the coordination framework on it is not courting the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr. Ended 29 / p. 87
