Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - President Masoud Barzani stressed today, Thursday (June 30, 2022), the necessity of Iraqi political parties, with the principles of partnership, balance and consensus.
This came during President Barzani's reception of the British Ambassador to Iraq, Mark Bryson Richardson, and his accompanying delegation.
In the meeting, which was attended by the British Consul General in Erbil, David Hunt, the latest changes and developments in the political situation in Iraq, obstacles to the political process in Iraq and steps to form the future Iraqi government were discussed.
During the meeting, President Barzani stressed the need for Iraqi political parties to adhere to the principles of partnership, balance and consensus.
President Barzani stressed that the Iraqi government should respect the rights of the people of Kurdistan, the financial dues to the Kurdistan Region, and that everyone should respect the constitution and the entity of the Kurdistan Region.
