Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Stock Exchange (the Stock Exchange) announced on Sunday that the banking sector was the most traded and valuable sector for the month of July.
The market said in a table seen by Shafak News Agency, that the banking sector was the most traded sector for the month of July, with a rate of 86.4%, where the traded shares amounted to 13,001.528.633 billion shares out of the total traded shares amounting to 15,042.176.546 billion shares, indicating that the financial value The banking sector for the month of July was also the highest among the other sectors, which amounted to 4,291,379.723 billion dinars, out of a total total value of 11,992.384.549 billion dinars.
She added that the industry sector came second with the largest traded sectors, with a rate of 6.72%, as the shares traded in it for the month of July amounted to 1,010,136,823 billion shares, with a financial value of 2,039,564.659 billion dinars, and the services sector came third in terms of shares trading by 3.1%, reaching 459.893.042 million Shares with a financial value of 1,476,659.614 billion dinars, and the telecommunications sector comes fourth with a rate of 2.04%, with shares trading in it 306.647.792 million shares, with a financial value of 2,245.463.482 billion dinars.
He explained that the agricultural sector came fifth with a rate of 0.79% in terms of trading, reaching 118,889.621 million shares, with a financial value of 789.997.904 billion dinars. The insurance sector came seventh with a rate of 0.2%, with a circulation of 34,097.965 million shares, with a financial value of 15,423.971 million dinars, and the investment sector came eighth, with 0.13%, with a circulation of 19,622.748 million shares, with a financial value of 9.797.979 million dinars.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Stock Exchange organizes five trading sessions a week from Sunday to Thursday, and includes 103 Iraqi joint stock companies representing the sectors of banking, telecommunications, industry, agriculture, insurance, financial investment, tourism, hotels and services.
