ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The designated Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, said he will never hesitate to take real measures to "repress the corruption that has brazenly spread in the joints of the state and its institutions."
In a tweet to him on Twitter, Al-Sudani emphasized placing this file in the priorities of his government program, saying, "We will not allow the Iraqis' money to be robbed, as happened with the funds of the General Authority for Taxes in the Rafidain Bank."
The elected Iraqi president, Abdul Latif Rashid, had commissioned the Coordinating Framework candidate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to form the next Iraqi government.
On October 13, the Iraqi parliament elected, by a majority of votes, Abdul Latif Rashid, the new president of the country, which witnessed a year-long political crisis.
