The Sudanese government’s stock market .. “Al-Fateh” gets five ministries, “The Law” three, and a surprise awaits the invader and the punitive
Shafaq News/ A leader in the coordination framework revealed, on Wednesday, how the 12 ministries were divided among the Shiite blocs, referring to an agreement to maintain the shares of the Sadrist movement (the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers and the Deputy Minister of Health).
The leader told Shafaq News Agency, asking not to be named, that "there is an agreement within the coordination framework on the division of ministries, where the State of Law coalition will get 3 ministries, which are oil, higher education and agriculture, while five ministries will go to the Al-Fateh coalition, which are the interior, electricity, communications, transportation, labor and social affairs. ".
The source added that "there is an agreement in principle within the coordination framework that the positions of the Sadrist movement remain in their position and that the position of Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers for Hamid Al-Ghazi, as well as the Ministry of Health remain acting under the management of Deputy Hani Al-Aqabi."
He pointed out that "the ministries of water, water resources, sports and youth will go to independents, while immigration and displaced persons will go to Christians."
The leader pointed out that "the political blocs have an obligation to present three candidates for the ministerial portfolio, provided that the designate, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, chooses one of these names for the position of minister."
Today, Wednesday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed that it will obtain three ministries in the upcoming government of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, namely, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Justice, (construction, housing and municipalities), while the Ministry of Environment will go to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
The Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, is preparing to present his cabinet formation to the Iraqi parliament, after he has finished drawing the outlines of ministerial quotas with the participating political forces.
It is expected that the Sudanese government will pass in the House of Representatives without any obstacles, in the absence of the 73 Sadrist bloc deputies who announced their resignation from the parliament on June 12.
However, this government is expected to face thorny economic, political and security challenges.
