    The head of the Integrity Commission, Judge Alaa Al-Saadi, clarified the amounts and mechanisms of the financial reward granted by the Commission to the collaborators in recovering Iraq's money.
    Al-Saadi said in an interview with Kahramana magazine, which is issued by the authority, that "the Iraq Money Recovery Fund was established under Law No. 9 of 2012 and amended under Law No. 7 of 2019, to become managed by the Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission, who was entrusted with the task of recovering all the financial rights of the Republic of Iraq that he obtained Other Iraqis and foreigners illegally as a result of misuse of the oil-for-food program, economic blockade, smuggling, economic sabotage, or exploitation of the sanctions imposed on Iraq at the time to achieve financial gains at the expense of the Iraqi people, in receiving any compensation incurred by the Republic of Iraq as a result of a legitimate and recognized decision ".
    He added, "Among the privileges granted by the law to those cooperating with the Fund is exempting them from the amounts due from them at a rate of 25 percent and up to 5 million dollars of the recovered money as a maximum, and by obtaining the approval of the Council of Ministers, and the law also granted the informants of the financial rights of the Iraqi state a reward estimated at 10 percent of The money recovered, provided that it does not exceed $5 million of that money.
    Judge Al-Saadi explained that "the rewards stipulated in the law allocated to informants are distributed among them in the event of their multiplicity, according to the role of each of them in recovering the money and the importance of the information that led to his recovery, taking into account the standard of time."
    He pointed out that "the Fund's management circulated to all ministries and agencies not associated with the Ministry of the need not to sign economic or investment agreements with countries without referring to the Fund, with the intention of involving it in those bilateral agreements and to urge countries to remove obstacles that prevent the recovery of the financial rights of the Republic of Iraq," stressing "The response of those parties to the fund's request."
