On Thursday, the Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Diab, approved the procedures for appointing contracts in the ministry.
And the Ministry of Water Resources stated in a statement, "The Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Awn Diab Abdullah, approved the appointment of all contract employees in the ministry and their formations, and sent them to the Ministry of Finance."
The Minister of Water Resources said, "These measures come based on the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, to complete the procedures for appointing contractors with ministries and sending them to the Ministry of Finance to transfer them to permanent owners."
He added, "The ministry has taken all appointment procedures to include approximately 6,000 contractors in the ministry and its formations."
