The Iraqi government intends to develop industrial cities in all provinces

Shafaq News/ The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, laid today, Wednesday, the foundation stone for the unpolluted industrial city of Najaf project, which is one of the largest industrial cities on an area of (6000) dunums.
A special ceremony was held to lay the foundation stone, during which the minister emphasized the uniqueness of the city of Najaf on all religious, cultural and social levels, in addition to its industrial specificity due to its distinction and the distinction of its people, announcing the launch of work in the city.
He expressed his hope that the city would be crowned with success and attract industrialists from the people of Najaf and abroad and outside Iraq, indicating that the Ministry of Industry and Minerals is responsible, facilitating and supportive of the public and private sectors, and that the Ministry is supportive of the discreet private sector and gives it the way and gives it the reins of leadership and leadership.
He also looked forward to meeting soon to open the city and produce national products with the enthusiasm of industrialists and the support of the government and the Ministry of Industry, which is serious about supporting the private sector.
After laying the foundation stone for the project, the Minister of Industry held a press conference in which he stated that the industrial city will be smart and environmentally friendly, adding, "We will work to develop an industrial city in all governorates."
He explained that industrial cities contribute to the development of the governorates in which they are established in all economic, environmental and even social aspects, as they provide job opportunities and contain services, complexes and other facilities, indicating that industrial cities are of exceptional importance in organizing the industrial sector.
