Today, Friday, the Ministry of Planning set the date for issuing the annual report on the rate of inflation, poverty and unemployment.
"So far, there are no new indicators regarding the rate of inflation for the current year, poverty and unemployment, because the annual report on these indicators is issued after entering the new year 2023," said the ministry's spokesman, Abdel-Zahra Al-Hindawi.
Al-Hindawi added, "The report has not been completed yet, and the Central Statistical Organization has not discussed this yet."
And the Ministry of Planning announced, on Sunday (11/27/2022), the start of preparing the poverty reduction and five-year development strategies for the next five years 2023-2027.
The ministry's spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said that these strategies and plans will take into account the issue of multidimensional poverty in the areas of health, housing and education, in addition to improving the income level of the poor.
