Today, Wednesday, Minister of Planning Muhammad Ali Tamim announced the start of preparing the basic designs for the villages nominated for development.
A statement by the ministry, received by (Al-Oula News), stated that “Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, announced today that the Department of Regional and Local Development in the ministry has begun preparing basic designs for villages nominated for development in Iraq,” noting that “that This came during the minister’s approval of the basic design plan for the village of Al-Asheq in Salah Al-Din Governorate, as one of the villages nominated for development.
He added, "This work comes in the context of the tasks of the Ministry of Planning, which aims to support rural development in a way that secures the integration of the Iraqi countryside into the comprehensive national development process, raising the standard of living for the rural population, and achieving food security," noting that "the ministry is working to lay the foundations and strategies that it requires." Regional development at the level of all regions of Iraq.
He explained that “the process of developing the included villages includes drawing up a methodology for the development and development of these villages,” pointing out that “the Department of Regional and Local Development in the Ministry of Planning has completed the study of the site of the village of Al-Asheq in Al-Tharthar district within the Samarra district of Salah Al-Din Governorate, so that this village will be the first building block for preparing Designs for the rest of the villages nominated for development throughout Iraq, in accordance with the planning criteria adopted in selecting villages, in coordination with the planning directorates of the Ministry in the governorates, as well as forming a specialized planning team to review maps and define the borders of the village nominated for development, and to conduct field visits to find out the reality of the situation and fix the borders. Determine the uses of the land therein.
