The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed, on Saturday, that until now there is no agreement between Baghdad and Erbil regarding Kurdistan’s share in the budget, while he expected it to reach Parliament at the end of this month.[/size]
[size=45]Suleiman said, in a press interview seen by Taqaddam, that “the budget for the current year will provide all the needs of the citizen, and it is currently in the preparation stage by the government.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The 2023 budget will translate the government program into health, electricity, investment and infrastructure files, pointing out that the budget is not ready to be sent to Parliament."[/size]
[size=45]He explained that the budget needs to prepare many paragraphs, including the region’s share, the exchange rate, and infrastructure allocations, as well as the lack of a complete agreement with Baghdad regarding Kurdistan’s share.[/size]
