An informed source in the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated, on Monday, that the new salary scale for state employees will soon be issued.
The source told "Al-Iqtisad News" agency, "The Secretariat of the Council of Ministers is working on finalizing a draft of a new salary scale for employees of state institutions and submitting it to the Council of Ministers for a vote on it in the coming weeks."
He added, "The new ladder will review all allowances granted to employees of all categories without prejudice to the value of the nominal salary," pointing out that "the salaries of junior employees and low salaries will be increased in order to achieve the principle of justice for all groups working in the country."
