The Ministry of Finance said today, Wednesday (November 29, 2023), that the employee salary scale file is not the exclusive responsibility of the Ministry, while noting that it has provided the entities whose work is related to the salary scale file with all the data available to it.
The Ministry explained in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that it “renews its frank and clear approach towards taking into account the financial rights of all segments of society, especially the employee segment, indicating that the issue of the employee salary scale is not the exclusive responsibility of the Ministry.”
She added, "I proposed to the Diwani Order Committee No. 24 to issue notices to ministries and entities not affiliated with the ministry and all governorates to obtain the necessary data, noting that the decision to raise allocations for grades (eighth, ninth, and tenth) comes as a first stage to protect low-income groups."
According to its statement, the Ministry completed, “The recommendations of the Diwani Order Committee regarding the salary scale will be submitted after the end of its work to the Council of Ministers.”
