He added that "the government measures were limited to adding allocations for the low grades, which are the tenth, ninth and eighth grades, in the hope that there will be other amendments to correct the path and reduce the differences," noting that "there is a need for legislative amendment to some matters, as there are allocations granted by effective laws, such as allocationsOffice of Financial SupervisionAndIntegrity Commission"

He stressed the "need for the government to be serious about reviewing everything related to the salary scale by amending legislation, adding allocations, or redistributing salary allocations to government agencies in a fair manner."

Yesterday, Monday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee blew up the most important justifications of the Iraqi government for delaying the amendment of the salary scale, which is represented by the need for the amendment to review and amend more than 34 laws, as the matter can be summarized by legislation.Federal Civil Service Law.

It is a difficult task, but it is not impossible."

He explained that "the government sentFederal Civil Service LawTo the House of Representatives, before withdrawing it to include a financial aspect,” noting that Parliament “is waiting to send the law after making the required amendment, as it is a law that regulates the employee’s work and amends the salary, and more than 34 laws will be cancelled and amended,” according to the government newspaper Al-Sabah.

The Central Coordination Committee for Salary Scale Amendment announced a mass demonstration that will be held on July 20, which they described as the “salary scale uprising,” in the Alawi area towards Al-Khadhra, demanding the salary scale amendment.
