    Economy News-Baghdad
Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Electricity identified the reasons for the disparity in the rate of energy supply between the governorates, while indicating the existence of coordination with the Iranian side and the Ministry of Oil to ensure the arrival of sufficient fuel quantities to raise the level of supply.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Musa told the Iraqi News Agency that "the rate of energy supply varies from one governorate to another and from one region to another, according to a group of factors related to the availability of fuel and the impact of some stations on the increase in demand for consumption, and the technical symptoms that are presented to the network, and other matters." Others that affect the rate of electricity supply hours.
Musa added, "Iraq is going through a decline in gas emissions from the supplier, and a lack of national fuel emissions in favor of the stations," pointing out that "the governorates that recorded a decline in electricity supply hours are the capital Baghdad and the governorates of the Middle Euphrates due to the scarcity of fuel."
He pointed out that "the ministry is coordinating with the Iranian side and the Ministry of Oil to ensure the arrival of sufficient quantities of fuel to operate the stations and raise the hours of electricity supply."
