Today, Friday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz chaired a round of talks between Iraq and Germany.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement that "the talks dealt with aspects of joint cooperation and the development of economic and trade relations, the strategic partnership between Iraq and Germany, the necessary steps to activate and expand agreements in the field of energy and alternative and renewable energy, and to enhance the participation of German companies in the investment sector in Iraq."[/size]
[size=45]The statement added, "The official Iraqi delegation to the round of talks included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein, Minister of Electricity Ziyad Ali Fadel, Minister of Industry Khaled Battal, Minister of Migration and Displacement, Mrs. Evan Faeq Yaqoub, and also the advisor to the Prime Minister and the Iraqi ambassador to Germany."[/size]
