The deputy of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad al-Ziyadi, ruled out the existence of an intention in Parliament to force the government to reduce the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, stressing that Parliament will not be a party to this issue.
Al-Ziyadi said in a press interview, which was seen by “Takadum”, that “Iraq is now ruling on a financial abundance that enables it to overcome the crisis, and in the event that the economic situation deteriorates significantly, Parliament will have a new position on the government.”
He continued, "The markets are witnessing a rise in material prices and an economic war taking place between two very large poles that control exchange rates," without giving more details.
