    Today, Thursday, the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce proposed the formation of economic blocs in the region.
    “The nature of trade between nearby countries, which is called intra-trade, is very necessary,” said the head of the federation, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, to the official agency, followed by (Al-Oula News), pointing out that “Jordan is a strategic partner and a great depth for Iraq, as is the case for the rest of the countries, such as Syria and Saudi Arabia.”
    He stressed, “the importance of the economic blocs that are forming in the region, especially when we are in very difficult circumstances and great fluctuations in global markets,” noting that “there are countries that have worked to ensure that the trade balance is close among them.”
    He added, "The experience of the Aprex International Group today gave an economic advantage to the world and strength other than the dollar and the euro, and the advantage of BRICS is that these countries deal in their own currencies," pointing out that "if Iraq works as an economic bloc with countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Turkey, this will be a large economic group because we are We have energy, water and resources.”
    And he continued, “We, as Iraqis, aspire to have strategic partnerships with these countries,” stressing that “the exchange rate of the dollar has decreased and there are important economic, customs and tax laws that have given the Arab and foreign investor the power to enter the Iraqi market, and this is important for neighboring countries and friends from abroad to win, as well as win Foreign currency enters the Iraqi market.
    He pointed out that Iraq has the possibility to establish strong relations and create a competitive economy through the existence of large exemptions for all traders and investors instead of pressures and others.
