The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of the new Iraqi ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Majed Al-Lajmawi, to Ankara Airport.
And the ministry stated, in a statement received by (Al-Oula News), that “Majid Al-Lajmawi, the recently appointed ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Turkish capital, Ankara, arrived this evening, Tuesday.”
She added, "The Ambassador Al-Lajmawi was received at the airport by officials from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of ambassadors and heads of Arab diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Turkey, the Chargé d'Affairs Counselor Khalil Ibrahim Mahmoud, the military and cultural attache, the director of the office of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, and a number of embassy employees." .
For his part, the ambassador stressed that he will do his utmost to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara more than ever before.
It is scheduled that the new ambassador will begin his duties at the Iraqi embassy in Ankara, starting tomorrow.
