    Today, Friday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, discussed with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the activation of joint committees between the two countries.


    A statement by Al-Sudani's office, received by Al-Sumaria News, stated that the latter "received at his residence today the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on the sidelines of his participation in the 59th Munich Security Conference."






    During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to consolidate them and increase cooperation and economic partnership, in the interest of the friendly Iraqi and Armenian peoples. And an understanding was reached to activate joint committees between the two countries, in the fields of tourism, industry and energy.

    The Prime Minister expressed to his Armenian counterpart "Iraq's desire to open up to all brotherly and friendly countries, and to regional and international cooperation, in a way that enables overcoming common challenges, and supports the security and stability of the region.
