Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Member of the parliament Labor & Social Affairs Committee, MP Abdul Khidhir al-Tahir, criticized the Iraqi Premier’s invitation for the Egyptian labors to work in Iraq, noting “The unemployment in Iraq is more than 20%, the thing that makes it difficult to accommodate the Egyptian labors.”
Tahir stated to All Iraq New Agency on Monday “Iraq cannot accommodate any Egyptian workers even if for little rate, so Maliki’s call in this regard is unsound and it is invested for political purposes.”
Maliki has stated earlier during a press conference he held jointly with his Egyptian counterpart, Hisham Qindiel, in Baghdad that “The door is open in front of the Egyptian labors,” indicating “Iraq needs many specializations available among the Egyptian labors.”
