The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ms. Evan Faiq Jabro, received in her office in the capital, Baghdad, His Excellency the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq, Satam Jad'an Al-Dandah. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination to serve the two brotherly peoples.[/size]
[size=45]At the outset of the meeting, Mrs. Minister expressed her deep condolences to the families of the victims of the recent earthquake that struck some regions of Syria and her sympathy for the wounded, stressing that the Iraqi government and people stand with the Syrian people in this ordeal, and that the relief and human aid convoys that arrived in the Syrian Arab Republic are a small part of Unity of the two brotherly peoples.[/size]
[size=45]The meeting also discussed some important files related to the situation of Syrian refugees in Iraq and ways to provide them with the necessary assistance.[/size]
