The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed, on Sunday, that the "Mahan" platform is the first experience in Iraq to connect young job seekers with the private sector.
The ministry's spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, said, "The ministry, after its cooperation with a number of international organizations and through the national service government, which has prioritized attention and support for young people and provides all means that qualify them to engage in the labor market. A careers platform has been launched to employ young job seekers." ".
Al-Aqabi added, in an interview with the official news agency, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "the professions platform is considered the first platform in Iraq, to link young people looking for work with the private sector, and provide the skilled and diverse labor it needs to encourage and stimulate the labor market."
He pointed out, "The importance of information and communication technology at the present time to advance progress and development in the world, so the ministry launched a professions platform to enable young people to reach companies and business owners, as well as to government and private departments and centers concerned with training and work."
