    {International: Al Furat News} Iran and Saudi Arabia have agreed to restore diplomatic relations and exchange ambassadors of the two countries within two months.
    The agreement was sponsored by China, in which the agreement was signed.
    The text of the tripartite statement reads: In response to the worthy initiative of the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, to support the expansion of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on the principle of good neighborliness and in accordance with the agreement with the presidents of the two countries to host and support dialogue between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as The desire of the two countries to resolve differences through dialogue and diplomacy based on fraternal relations.
    The statement referred to "the affirmation of the two countries' adherence to the principles and objectives of the Charter of the United Nations and the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the international principles and procedures of the delegations of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Admiral Ali Shamkhani, representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by Massad bin Muhammad Al-Aiban, Minister Advisor and member The Cabinet and the National Security Adviser met and discussed with each other in Beijing from March 6 to 10, 2023."
    The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed their gratitude to the Republic of Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the talks between the two sides in the years (2021 to 2022), and they thanked the leadership and the People's Republic of China for hosting and supporting the talks that took place in this country and the efforts made to make them a success.
    As a result of the negotiations between the two countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia agreed to resume diplomatic relations and reopen embassies and consulates within the next two months. According to the statement, the statement indicated 
    that "the foreign ministers of the two countries will meet to implement this decision and make the necessary arrangements for the exchange of ambassadors."
    The two countries affirmed, according to the statement, "the respect for sovereignty and non-interference in each other's internal affairs, within the framework of implementing the security cooperation agreement signed on 4/7/2001, as well as the general economic, trade, investment, technical, scientific, cultural, sports and youth cooperation agreement signed, and the three countries declare their firm intention to Use all efforts to promote peace and security at the regional and international levels.
