Shafaq News/ The prices of "foreign and Iraqi" gold rose in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, and in the markets of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, today, Thursday, (March 16, 2023).
Shafaq News agency reporter said that the gold prices in the wholesale markets in Al-Nahr Street in the capital, Baghdad, were recorded this morning. The selling price of one 21-carat weight of Gulf, Turkish and European gold was 418 thousand dinars, and the purchase price was 416 thousand dinars, while the gold prices for yesterday, Wednesday, were 414. One thousand dinars for one weight.
Our correspondent indicated that the selling price of one 21-carat weight of Iraqi gold also recorded an increase at 388 thousand dinars, and the purchase price reached 386 thousand.
With regard to gold prices in goldsmiths' shops, the price of selling a 21-karat gold weight in the Gulf ranges between 420,000 and 430,000 dinars, while the selling price of an Iraqi gold weight ranged between 390,000 and 400,000 dinars.
As for the gold prices in Erbil, it also witnessed an increase, as the price of selling a 24-carat gold weight reached 490 thousand dinars, and a 22-carat record sold 350 thousand dinars, and a 21-carat record sold 435 thousand dinars, while an 18-carat record sold 370 thousand dinars.
One mithqal of gold is equal to (five grams).
