A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "The Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs, Hisham Al-Alawi, met today, Wednesday, the French Ambassador, Eric Chevalier, accompanied by the political advisor, Jean-Christophe Paris."
According to the statement, the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of coordination to activate the terms and paragraphs of the strategic partnership agreement with France, which was signed during the recent visit of the Sudanese Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia'a, to Paris, to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the energy, transport, education and tourism sectors.In addition to affirming the Ministry's desire to implement the memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Institute of Foreign Service, the Diplomatic Academy and the National Institute of Public Service (INSP) in France, in order to deepen knowledge and develop diplomatic cadres to be at a prestigious level regionally and globally, and to qualify the capabilities of officials and those with special degrees in Iraqi ministries and public sector institutions.
For his part, the French ambassador expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iraqi embassy in Paris to follow up the implementation of the provisions of the strategic partnership agreement between the two countries, stressing his desire to participate in an interactive seminar at the Foreign Service Institute, and to organize a mechanism for the continuation of bilateral cooperation in the field of capacity building for the Ministry's employees in the field. the various fields, and in particular the development of languages in general and the French language in particular.”/ End 2[/rtl]
