    Baghdad today - Erbil
The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Faeq Yazidi, confirmed today, Sunday, that what was issued by the French court regarding the export of the region's oil was expected and we warned of it repeatedly.
Yazidi told (Baghdad Today) that "the international reports published on the economic situation in the region were very frightening," according to his description.
He added that "members of the Patriotic Union have frozen their membership, because of what the Kurdistan Regional Government, which is controlled by the Democratic Party, is pursuing."
The leader of the National Union explained that "the region is facing a stage of great failure because of the government that controls it and wants to push it towards the abyss," noting that "the regional government deals with duplicity with international reports."
He pointed out that "the situation in the region is an accumulation of years of corruption, mismanagement and dictatorship," pointing out that "sending delegations to Baghdad to negotiate oil exports and resolving crises is a wrong step."
He continued, "The region's situation does not bear adventure and gambling, especially with the future of the generations of Kurdistan," stressing that "the matter will not be resolved by sending delegations of employees from the office of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to Baghdad."
For his part, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Karim, revealed yesterday, Saturday, that the decision of the French court ruling dates back to the time of the Al-Kazemi government, but it appeared to the media now, while he reduced the importance of the ruling due to the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad in advance in line with the decision .
Karim said, in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that "winning the lawsuit and issuing the judicial decision was two months ago from now, and he has now gone out to the media."
Karim added, "The decision will not affect the region at all," noting that "the budget agreement basically stipulates that the Kurdistan government will hand over (400) thousand barrels of oil to the federal government, and oil exports will be with the flag of Baghdad."
Yesterday, Saturday, the Ministry of Oil announced that it had won a lawsuit regarding the export of oil to Turkey .
And the ministry stated, in a statement, that "the final decision on exporting oil to Turkey was issued in favor of Iraq by the arbitral tribunal of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris last Thursday, March 23, 2023."
In the context, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, explained that the recent understandings with Baghdad laid the foundation for resolving the problem related to the international lawsuit won by the federal government .
Barzani said in a tweet to him on Twitter, which I followed (Baghdad Today), that "our recent understandings with Baghdad laid the basis for us to solve the problem related to the arbitration decision today ."
Barzani added, "A team from the Kurdistan Regional Government will visit Baghdad tomorrow for dialogue, to build on the goodwill of our discussions ."
The Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced, earlier, that the French court's decision in favor of the Iraqi government against Turkey "will not hinder our relations" with the Baghdad government, referring to a close visit to the Iraqi capital.
