    Information / Baghdad...
The representative of the State of Law Coalition, Jassem Atwan, confirmed that there is no waiver of the amounts owed by the region to Baghdad, pointing out that the legal right obliges the region to hand over imports to the center without waiving them.
Atwan told Al-Maalouma, "The money that is collected from the fields, oil exports, and border crossings in the Kurdistan region must reach Baghdad, as it is the right of all the people."
He added, "There are financial dues on the region that must be paid to Baghdad, at a time when Erbil is seeking to postpone their delivery to the federal government, which may constitute an obstacle in the political agreements between Baghdad and Erbil."
And he indicated that "the legal right requires the region to pay the sums it owes without giving it up at all, and it may be agreed to hand it over to Baghdad in the form of payments, as obliging the region to pay it in one payment may constitute an obstacle in the negotiations." ended 25 n
