    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, said today, Monday, that he would not compliment a leader or party with the cabinet reshuffle, and "whoever wants to refuse, let him refuse."
Al-Sudani said in a televised interview, followed by (Baghdad Today), that "there are names of officials who will be replaced at the appropriate time."
Al-Sudani added, "The state is required to pay tax secretariat money (theft of the century) to companies and contractors."
For the first time since the formations of Iraqi governments after 2003, a prime minister announces that he is about to make a cabinet reshuffle among the members of his government, as well as a number of governors. And the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, who formed his government during the month of October 2022, pledged days after its formation that he would work to evaluate the performance of those with special grades in the country (general directors and undersecretaries of ministries) within 4 months and subject the ministers to evaluation within 6 months.
And according to what Al-Sudani recently revealed during a televised interview, the government is about to make amendments in the ministerial formation, and at the level of governors and general managers. While this announcement of the cabinet reshuffle is a source of strength for the prime minister, who has set several priorities in his government program, which the government must adhere to, on the other hand, and according to political observers, it could open the door to a dispute with the political blocs regarding the ministries covered by the change of their ministers. , as well as the conservatives, and it is perhaps the most controversial step in the event that Sudani took it.
