The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities decided to withdraw two projects in Dhi Qar Governorate from lagging companies.
The spokesman for Dhi Qar Governorate, Abu Al-Hassan Al-Badri, told Al-Sabah, "The minister decided to withdraw work from the companies executing the Al-Iskan and Al-Nasiriyah water bridge projects, and to refer the two projects to solid companies to complete them as soon as possible."
Minister Bankin Rikani, who is visiting Dhi Qar Governorate to follow up on the work being carried out by his ministry, urged the companies to complete their work in accordance with the required timings and specifications, and was briefed on a number of important projects. Rikani, Mechanisms of Cooperation and Coordination between the Local Government and the Ministry for the Implementation of Important Strategic Projects in the Governorate.
