Earth News / Representative Basem Al-Gharibawi said today, Monday, that the ministerial platform takes utmost importance at the constitutional and popular levels, especially since the government won the confidence of Parliament on the basis of its ministerial platform, as well as the latter's evaluation will be according to what it will achieve.
Al-Gharibawi added, in a statement to Earth News, that "this curriculum has been translated into a government program of visions, plans, and projects presented by ministries, governorates, and entities not associated with a ministry, so it is certain that this curriculum will enjoy parliamentary oversight as well as popular oversight."
And he continued, “The parliament is represented by a strategic planning committee and the council committees as well. It is assumed that it monitors the extent of the implementation of the ministry’s curriculum, so that we objectively judge the implementation of the ministerial curriculum and the government’s implementation of its programs. Multiple factors must be available for the purpose of evaluating the programs that will be implemented by the government.”
He pointed out that “one of the most important things is the provision of financial allocations, and therefore the ministerial curriculum is part of it linked to the approval of the state’s general budget, also some of its programs are linked to the approval of some important laws that could be a catalyst in implementing the government program.”
And the deputy also added that “therefore, these factors need to be available in order for it to be an objective assessment of the government curriculum, and the assessment will be objective and accurate by the end of the current fiscal year.
He explained that "some of the measures that are now in place by the government and some of the steps it has taken in implementing its ministerial platform require financial allocations, as well as the approval of the relevant ministries."
