The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, directed the committees concerned with following up the implementation of the provincial administration for the service projects allocated by the budget, while calling on the governors to invest the Support of the legislative and executive authorities to expedite the completion of projects and initiate the implementation of lagging ones.

A statement from Mandalawi's office stated that the latter "chaired an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, attended by the governors, to discuss the governorates' budget within the draft general budget law to be approved during the next few period."

During the meeting, they discussed the observations of the Financial Supervision Bureau regarding the implementation of the emergency support law by the governorates, as well as the obstacles facing the heads of the administrative units of the cities, as well as listening to their demands that around the size of the allocations and the need to increase them, and not to involve the governors in determining the ceilings of the annual funds allocated within the budget. As well as the mechanisms for calculating petrodollar revenues, and the possibility of making transfers between projects and federal department allocations.

The First Deputy confirmed, "The laws granted the heads of administrative units very wide powers, and there are those who invested these powers to optimally advance the urban, service and investment reality of their province, and others are quite the opposite, despite their receipt of sufficient financial allocations to implement projects.”

Al-Mandalawi called on all governors "to invest the support of the legislative and executive authorities to expedite the completion of service projects, and to start implementing the lagging ones, each of which is allocated in the budget." An active and courageous administration that has the ability to shorten time and bypass routine to choose the best projects to serve citizens and improve the existing reality.[/rtl]
