    Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Nasraoui agree to redress and compensation Basra deterring from the extraction of oil 



    Search Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi with the governor of Basra Majed Nasraoui Oil Ministry plans concerning the future of Basra.

    A statement by the office of the governor of Basra, said, "Nasraoui received today's oil minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi during his visit to the province of Basra for the fact the oil in the province," stressing that "the two sides discussed during the meeting, the Oil Ministry plans future that belong to Basra being the main source of product oil in Iraq."

    The statement added, "The two sides agreed on the need to redress Basra and give full accrual as a result of damage caused by oil extraction operations."

    He welcomed the governor of Basra, according to the statement, "this step that would be a good omen for the province by developing and evaluating the work of departments of the Ministry in Basra"

    Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, the Sabbath, the need to develop the foundations that will be the main part of the ingredients to make Basra economic capital of Iraq.

    Abdul-Mahdi said that "the province of Basra, and if we want it to be economic capital of Iraq, we must develop its ports and oil wealth, which in addition to the development of petrochemical industries."

    Added Abdul-Mahdi said that "there are major problems and obstacles stand in front of the increase in production and the preservation of stability and that the ministry will develop plans to address them for the future."

    He held the oil minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, Saturday, in talks with the governor of Basra Majed Nasraoui on the Oil Ministry plans relating to the future of Basra.

    According to a statement from the governor's office in Basra, said that "conservative, Majed Nasraoui, received today's oil minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, during his visit to the province of Basra for the fact the oil in the province."

    The statement added, "The two sides discussed during the meeting, the Oil Ministry plans concerning the future of Basra being the main source of product oil in Iraq," adding that "the two sides agreed on the need to redress Basra and give full accrual as a result of damage caused by oil extraction operations."

    And the statement, the governor of Basra, welcomed "the move that would be a good omen for the province by developing and evaluating the work of departments of the Ministry in Basra."
