The Parliamentary Services Committee revealed, on Monday, the details of the new Sadr City project, indicating that the project will be allocated exclusively to the people of Sadr City.
The head of the committee, Ali Al-Hamidawi, said in a televised interview, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "the new Sadr City project is one of the important strategic projects, as its area exceeds 6 thousand dunums."
Al-Hamidawi added, "The real solution to all problems in Sadr City lies in the completion of this project, and there is a tendency to build about 100,000 housing units through the new Sadr City project."
He pointed out that "the Parliamentary Services Committee met with the technical committee to discuss the new Sadr City project, and that the large residential complex in the New Sadr City project will be exclusively for the people of the city." Ended
